This hotel has delightful old-world charm, excellent service, and great location. I wish we'd had more than one night there. The courtyard is magical.
This hotel is fantastic! Our entire family, a group of 11 from Mexico, Italy, Singapore, and Brazil, stayed here. From the beginning to the end, the staff was extremely helpful, making us feel at home even though we were far away from our own countries. They were also very attentive to cleanliness. Additionally, the hotel has a Mexican style that makes it perfect for beautiful pictures. With its central location, it was easy to go everywhere we needed in the city. We loved our stay there, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a tranquil stay in Dolores Hidalgo.
The staff was really friendly. They stored our luggage before and after our stay. Very nice location close to the Centro, and has a coffee shop nearby that’s great! Overall we would stay here again. We visited during April 2025
I stayed here in late November 2014 and it was perfect. I traveled across Mexico on bicycle and have stayed at nearly 90 hotels of all kinds, always on a budget. CastelMia had large clean rooms, good wifi, and a beautiful courtyard. Best of all the staff were very friendly, proactive in helping me with problems or questions, and just welcoming in general. I do not remember the exact price but it was in the US $30/night range. Perhaps a little less not much more. Note that the nights can get very cold here, especially in the winter, as this area is highland and arid. Rooms do not come with heat which I don't hold against CasaMia because that's normal in this part of Mexico. They were happy to give me a heavy blanket when I requested one and I slept 2 nights here with no problem. Location is great, very quiet but only 2 blocks to the central jardín and the famous church. Check out Zona V in the public market ( 3 blocks away) for healthy food and great salads and vegetarian options if that's your kind of thing. Strongly recommend this hotel.

We had a great stay here a few nights ago. Terrific location a block from the main plaza. Lovely courtyard in the middle and nice rooms. A good value!
El lugar tiene una gran ubicación, muy céntrico, es muy bonito y las habitaciones limpias y acogedoras, fuimos en una noche de mucho frío y la habitación estaba calientita. El personal es muy amable. Pero, el colchón es realmente duro e incómodo, lo mismo las almohadas. Suelo dormir de lado y fue tan incómodo que me dolía el hombro al despertar. Espero puedan mejorar en ese aspecto porque todo el lugar les increíble
